A new schedule of Vande Bharat Express running between Meerut-Lucknow has been released. The train will run 6 days a week except Tuesday. It will depart from Meerut at 6:35 am and reach Lucknow at 1:35 pm. On the inaugural day, 31 August, the train will be flagged off virtually by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Those traveling in the train will also be given free travel passes.

A new schedule of Vande Bharat running between Meerut-Lucknow has been released. The train will run six days a week. It will not run on Tuesday. There is no stoppage of Alam Nagar (Lucknow) in the new schedule.
In the earlier schedule, the train was to stop at Alam Nagar as well. The departure time from Meerut has been kept at 6:35 am. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will virtually flag off the train from Meerut at 12:30 pm on Saturday.
Earlier this time was 1 pm. The train will run regularly from Lucknow from September 1. The train will be given a grand welcome at Moradabad station. The railways had announced the operation of Vande Bharat Express (22490/22489) between Meerut-Lucknow on August 27. Its time was released, but there was confusion about its regular operation. It will depart from Lucknow on September 1 at 2:45 pm.

It will reach Bareilly at 6:02 pm, Moradabad at 7:32 and Meerut at 10 pm. The train will operate from Meerut on September 2. It will leave from there at 6:35 am, reach Moradabad at 8:35 am, Bareilly at 9:56 and Lucknow at 1:35 pm. On the inauguration day on August 31, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off the flower-decorated train at 12:30 pm. The train will reach Moradabad at 2:30 pm on August 31.
After this, it will reach Bareilly at 3:51 and Lucknow at 7:40 pm. On this occasion, the train will be given a grand welcome at Moradabad railway station. The station will also be decorated. Free travel passes will also be given to those traveling in the train.
The train will travel between Meerut and Lucknow at an average speed of 64 kmph and will complete the journey in seven hours and 10 minutes and between Lucknow and Meerut at a speed of 63.29 kmph and will complete the journey in seven hours and 15 minutes. Senior DCM Aditya Gupta said that the list of train operations and schedule has been received.
