Arunachal Pradesh has been hit by landslides due to heavy rains. The landslide occurred on NH-13 near Babuk village in Chiang district of Arunachal Pradesh on Saturday morning. The landslide caused the complete closure of the Pasighat-Pangin road.
The landslide occurred in the morning and traffic was completely disrupted. Ambulances and hundreds of vehicles were trapped on the road. There are still reports of landslides from the top of the mountain. After the incident, the Arunachal Pradesh administration has started repairing the road to facilitate traffic but the landslide continues to cause difficulties in the repair work.
