The online quiz show, which began in 2000, has been so popular with fans that the producers are forced to come up with new seasons every time.
On micro-blogging site X, Sr. Bachchan shared a black and white photo from the sets of the show KBC16 and wrote, “BACK to KBC 16th season..” In another photo, Big B is seen running towards the stage. Sharing the candid photo, he wrote, “Yes, I’m back and there’s still no change in routine – the race is on.
Earlier, Sony TV uploaded a promo with Amitabh on its official Instagram handle. The post was titled, “Zindagi he, har mor par sawal puchegi, jawab to dena hoga. Watch #KaunBanegaCrorepati, Monday-Friday from August 12, at 9pm only on #SonyEntertainmentTelevision.
The Piku actor made his television debut in 2000 with the first season of KBC and Bachchan’s name has been associated with the quiz show ever since. Apart from KBC 3, which is hosted by Shah Rukh Khan, Big B has made his mark as a host since his debut season.
