Which Brands will be Reduced by How Much?
- The price of 650 ml beer with 5 per cent alcohol has been reduced by Rs 22 each.
- The price of 650 ml beer with alcohol content of more than 5 per cent will be reduced by Rs 34 each.
- General brand 750 ml rum will be reduced by Rs 117 each.
- Regular brand 750 ml whiskey, gin etc. will be reduced by Rs 144 each.
- LUXURY brand 750 ml brandy, whiskey and gin between Rs 360 and Rs 500 will be reduced by Rs 166 each.
- The price of 750 ml of LUXURY brand rum between Rs 350 and Rs 500 has been reduced by Rs 166 each.
- 750 ml brandy, whiskey and gin between Rs 500 and Rs 700 of elegant brands will be reduced by Rs 214 each.
The price of liquor was hiked on April 1 this year. The price of liquor was increased from Rs 150 to Rs 312. General brand liquor of 750 ml was increased by Rs 152 each. Regular brand liquor of 750 ml was increased by Rs 130 each. Luxury brand liquor of 750 ml was increased by Rs 175 each. Elegant brand liquor of 750 ml was increased by Rs 225 each. Premium brand liquor of 750 ml was increased by Rs 312 each. Beer prices were also increased by Rs 16 each.
